- After activation, the retrofitted trailer coupling is stored accordingly in the vehicle gateway and all dependent control units are configured and activated with the information on the installation status of the trailer coupling. These include the engine control unit, brake electronics, parking aid control unit, assistance systems such as front field camera or lane change assistant, rear view camera, air suspension control unit or ACC (adaptive cruise control).
- any error messages in the speedometer / instrument cluster of the assistance systems or other installed components are thus corrected accordingly.
- If a dual fan has also been installed, you can also have this correctly stored in the engine control unit so that the engine management works correctly depending on the environment (e.g. based on outside temperature, engine oil temperature, etc.).
- conveniently select whether a rigid trailer hitch should be activated or a manually or automatically swiveling variant
- After activation of the trailer recognition, the status is the same as installed ex works, so you can access all dependent systems available in the vehicle accordingly. (Example trailer relevant traffic sign recognition)

OBDAPP Interface
The interface serves between the OBD system (on-board diagnostics) of the vehicle and our OBDAPP.
The connection between the smartphone / tablet and the OBDAPP interface is made via Bluetooth LE.
Any number of smart devices (smartphone or tablet) can be connected to one interface.
pimp your car in only 6 steps:
1. download OBDAPP from
Apple AppStore or Android Playstore
2. plug the OBDAPP Interface into
the OBD-Port of your car
3. activate ignition and
connect to the OBDAPP interface in OBDAPP
4. execute the full automated functions
or run dtc section and live data
5. check the function after activation
and enjoy your new features!
6. DONE!
You can unplug the OBDAPP interface from OBD-Port
(or let it plugged in)
